mykes is an old friend, the kind that you have a spark of creativity with, talk about the filthiest jokes with and get inspired by a movie soundtrack with. we found each other in the depths of retail hell and formed a bond of petty defiance, the nuance and deftness of the english language and laughing our balls off.

mykes is charismatic, talented and a chameleon of a human. gifted with a guitar, a wordsmith and has a healthy live and let die attitude.

the inspiration for this shoot was to try and shoot mykes in a way that showcased all dimensions of his character: the strength of bruce lee, the vulnerability/wit/fire of oscar wilde and the showmanship of johnny cash.

i seriously think this guy could start a war.
